The Gaston Limited exists to provide safe, reliable and high value logistics as a delivery service partner to the world’s largest online retailer, its customers and our employees.
At The Gaston Limited, cultivating talent means more than filling routes — it means developing dependable, safety-driven professionals who take pride in delivering excellence every day.
We believe great delivery performance starts with great people. That’s why we invest in hands-on training, mentorship, and clear growth pathways for every team member — from new Delivery Associates to future Dispatchers and Operations Leaders.
This isn’t just a driving job — it’s a pathway to growth.
We believe in promoting from within and creating real opportunities for advancement. Many of our leaders started as Delivery Associates and grew into roles with greater responsibility, leadership, and impact. We provide hands-on training, mentorship, and performance coaching to help team members strengthen their skills in safety, route management, communication, and leadership.
When you show initiative, reliability, and a commitment to excellence, we notice — and we invest in you.
We believe leadership doesn’t stop at operations — it grows into ownership.
Our Business Owner Development & Road to Ownership Program is designed for high-performing leaders who aspire to build, lead, and scale their own Amazon Delivery Service Partner operation. We intentionally develop operational excellence, financial acumen, and people leadership skills to prepare future owners for long-term success.

With a professional background in Human Resources, he built his early career around people development, compliance, and organizational leadership before making the transition into the Amazon DSP program as a delivery driver. Over the past eight years, he has grown through every level of the business—from Driver to General Manager—ultimately completing Amazon’s Road to Ownership program and launching his own DSP.
That journey, from on-road experience to executive leadership, gives him a unique perspective on building strong teams and sustainable operations. He founded The Gaston Express with the mission of creating clear advancement pathways for those who want more—whether that means stepping into operations, becoming a manager, or pursuing their own Road to Ownership opportunity.
Outside of work, he enjoys pop culture, sci-fi films, cooking for others, and spending time with his two dogs, Atlas and Buffy.

River King-Houser serves as General Manager, overseeing day to day operations and stepping in wherever the business needs support. His leadership trajectory reflects a commitment to accountability, continuous improvement, and building systems that scale.
Now accepted into Amazon’s Road to Ownership program, River is preparing to launch and operate his own DSP. He is focused on building sustainable systems, cultivating strong team culture, and driving long-term growth through disciplined execution and leadership.

“Build stability first — performance follows.”

After moving to Washington State in late 2016 to work in shipyard construction, he entered the delivery industry in 2019 with an Amazon Delivery Service Partner. He quickly earned trust by successfully operating a wide range of routes, including standard van routes, medium box truck (HZB1) routes servicing Amazon Locker locations and businesses, and large box truck “Milk Run” routes traveling between Amazon warehouses across the state to correct drop-offs and complete pick-ups.
Through strong performance and leadership, he progressed from driver to dispatch, then into a management role, and now serves as Engagement Chief overseeing recruiting efforts. What began as a driving position evolved into a deep understanding of both frontline operations and the behind-the-scenes structure that keeps a logistics business running successfully.
Today, he leverages his hands-on operational experience to recruit, mentor, and bring in high-quality talent while ensuring the company’s standards, culture, and long-term growth remain a priority.

I have been part of the Amazon DSP network since 2019, beginning my career as a delivery associate with a different DSP. From the start, I was driven by growth, continuous improvement, and taking on greater responsibility. Over the years, I worked my way into dispatch and operations, eventually being offered a management position with Gaston Express, which I proudly accepted.
I have been with the company since day one and played a key role in helping launch and build the operation from the ground up. I initially served as Operations Manager, and my focus has since shifted to Onboarding and Recruitment, where I currently serve as the Onboarding & Recruitment Chief.
In this role, I oversee the full onboarding process for new hires after their interview, including payroll setup, scheduling, welcome communications, and enrollment into all required systems. I also assist with timecard support and provide operational support whenever needed. My goal is to ensure a smooth, organized, and positive experience for every new team member while supporting overall operational success.

The Gaston Express, LLC. was designed from its inception to be an incubator for talent and provide career advancement opportunities so its employee base always knows that their Employer is incredibly invested in not only their present, but also their future. If you are a Legacy Driver transferring to the Gaston Express, your learning curve could be as short as a year depending on your experience level and ability. For new drivers, the most practical progression is 3 years – Year 1 – Driver (becoming certified on all service types) Year 2- Dispatcher (Learning the other side of the Operation) Year 3 – Manager and potentially a nomination submittal for potential DSP Ownership. These timelines are NOT set in stone, it could be much shorter for a new driver and much longer for a Legacy Driver. Either way, we will figure it out together. A more comprehensive program guide will be provided to employees who successfully complete at least 30 days of full time employment.
